Dress
Code Regulations
Grandview christian School has a uniform dress code. All
students who attend the school, as well as faculty and staff,
will be required to dress with cleanliness, neatness, and
modesty as as becomes a Christian. Parents will be called
in cases where students show up and do not meet the dress
standards. Hairstyles also should be conservative, neat,
and above the collar for boys.
1. Students may wear Docker-style khaki, navy or black pants.
2. All girls may wear khaki, navy or black skorts or skirts
that are the length of shorts
3. Students may wear navy, light blue, pink, yellow or maroon
long-sleeve or short-sleeve polo shirts.
4. Girls may wear skirt or jumpers (knee-length or longer)
in Mayfair plaid.
5. No jackets, coats or headgear will be worn inside classrooms.
Hoodies that are purchased from the school will be allowed.
6. Jewelry can be both a distraction in the classroom and
a safety hazard on the playground. For this reason, jewelry
will be at the sole discretion of each teacher.
7. No earrings for boys or pierced facial areas for anyone.
The teacher may ban large neck chains or devices that are
distracting.
8. MAKE-UP must be modest, which is solely determined by
the teachers for grades 7-12.
9. Stocking caps or any type of head covering may not be
worn at school within the building, except when arriving
or departing in accordance with weather conditions.
10. K-6 Shoes that do not meet the safety standards for
playground or other school activities are not permitted.
No strap, sandal or flip flop shoes. All shoes must have
white soles or be non-marking shoes.
7-12th grade, flip
flops and sandals may be worn.
